Week 2

Week Two- View from ourYear 9 blogger: George Lawley
As our first full week began,We were all rather tired and hoping to get a good night’s sleep at least for one day. We all knew that we had fixtures some time in the week and we were all rather excited. On Wednesday the A and B team played a stunning first match against Forest School. The week continued with a rather tired group of teenage boys all looking forward to the exeat weekend coming up. On the Saturday we played Reading Bluecoat, including the A, B and C teams. We all faced a tough side but were all defeated. we showed the legendary Shiplake spirit and fought on to the end.
We are all looking forward to the four day week and our fixtures at St Edwards School Oxford, along with house football team which should be decided soon. Our Year 9 parents are looking forward to another fun reception on Thursday evening. Our Year 12 mentors will be there too. Have a good week.
