In Mr.A's words there have been many special year groups in his tenure as housemaster but this year, Year 13 have been THE best of the lot.

In recognition of their outstanding leadership of the house they were all awarded the highest house award of full senior house colours.

Half Term

Half Term starts today and it seemed fitting to say on behalf of everyone have a fabulous and safe half term! It has been a terrific start to the year in the house, the year 9 are now as much a part of the house as the year 12's. The house football has been superb for the Juniors ( the seniors didn't fair too well ... ) and the yr 9 and 10 b rugby team won their respective competition in the house rugby and we were unlucky to finish third overall.

Special thanks this term must go to George Lawley for his work on the blog. As well as many others who suggested ideas and we plan to go from strength to strength until Xmas.

Have a good, relaxing holiday...

Junior House Football Results

Skipwith (0) : Orchard (3)

A fantastic result for the juniors, Captain Jesse Levin scoring twice and Ben Peers with the 3rd. Skipwith exhibited all the panache and flair of a slowly dying salmon, they almost scored once, well they got the ball out of defence, well the 6yard box but it was a valiant performance, indeed a fantastic effort by Mr. Crisfords men and we wish them the best of luck for the next round of matches.

Everett (2) : Orchard (4)

Another Win for the team, who never looked like losing. Everett, led by Ex-Deputy Housemaster Mr. Lawson, were outclassed, outplayed and out supported thanks to fabulous suppport from the remainder of Yr9 and 10. Ben peers scored a brace as did Harry Wallace, one from a free-kick which resulted in him on his backside before the ball flew its way into the top corner leaving the goalie no chance at all.

Special mentions to Alex Collis in goal for his stunning saves and Freddie Notley for his solid defending. All players however deserve credit for their efforts.

Good luck in the next rounds to the juniors and especially good luck to the Seniors tomorow...
Any support would be extremely welcome.
